Reporting to a Plant Leader, these positions involve the Running of extrusion machines, completing quality checks and any other tasking associated with the meeting of our production requirements as directed. Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred but training will be given. The positions work as part of production teams and an ability and willingness to learn contribute and work effectively to meet the goals of the team and operation are essential.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager - Maintenance, this position involves providing engineering support to the running of extrusion machines, and any other tasks associated with the meeting of our production requirements as directed. We focus on a safe working environment, so the Engineer is expected to both comply with all Safety, Health and Quality Policies but act as a role model and leader to others in doing so. The purpose of this role is to manage Group Direct Material spend across various OEM suppliers, commodities, components, and assemblies with respect to quality, cost, and delivery. In addition, the business requires leadership in achieving the lowest total cost of ownership through negotiations, value engineering and Low-Cost Country sourcing when necessary. The performance of the successful individual in role is defined and measured by goals and behaviours which give purchase price cost reduction / on time delivery/ short lead-times / best in class quality performance, and payment term improvements They will also as required deputise for the Group Purchasing Manager, and have the ability and willingness to travel occasionally at short notice The role can be remote working ( though a requirement to attend an agreed minimum of monthly site meetings.)
Working within the Emtelle Solutions Department they report to the Solutions Director and are responsible for supporting the Sales, Solutions and Manufacturing teams. The role as Material Product Specialist encompasses supporting in the day to day activities which include, researching latest materials, finding suitable materials to meet new and existing standards. Finding materials for newly developed products, souring materials and testing new materials to improve manufacturing efficiency and output.
