In the current situation, operators are faced with an increasing requirement to deploy in-building fibre broadband networks. The first installation step is to get fibre cable or microduct bundles into an MDU. It is connected from the point of presence into the building through the wall or basement and connected into a further distribution box or distribution frame in the basement or comms room.
